Monika Cichocka graduated with honors from the Music Academy in Wroclaw where she was studying under Prof.Danuta Paziukowna, as a fellowship-holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art.

She begun her career being seventeen years old. She's taken part in numerous master's classes led by Adele Stolte, Brigit Nilsson, Helena Łazarska. She finds most inspirational her co-operation with Marek Dyżewski.

She is a prize-winner of International Vocal Contests in Geneva and Touluse (unanimous Ist Grand Prix).

Monika Cichocka co-operates with many opera-houses in Poland as well as abroad (Nantes in France). She passionately sings operas as well as oratorios, cantatas, etc. (vide repertoire of Monika Cichocka).

She's made a recording with Mozart's oratorios ("Krönungsmesse KV 317", "Vesperae solennes de Confessore KV 339"), also makes recording of recitals of old music.
Singer gives concerts in German, Italy, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Monte Carlo. She performed at many fine festivals such as "Wratislavia Cantans", "Warszawska Jesień", "Tivoli Festival", "Oratorio Festival" in Nancy , "Opera Festival" in Xanten, Opening of the "Cultural Olympic Games" in Barcelona in 1992.

Monika is proud of her co-operation with magnificent orchestras, among others with Orchestre Radio France, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Sinfonia Varsovia, WOSPRiTv. She particulary appreciates artistic encounters with stars of the baton- Reynaldo Giovaninetti, Michel Plasson, Helmuth Rilling, Guido Johannes Rumstadt, Michael Zilm, John DeMain, Yaacov Bergmann, Jacek Kaspszyk, Marco Balderi, Stefan Stuligrosz, Wojciech Michniewski, Antoni Wicherek, Tadeusz Kozłowski, Tadeusz Wojciechowski, José Maria Florencio Junior. Outstanding stage directors (Mariusz Treliński, Françoise Terrone, Philip Godefroid, Henryk Baranowski, Waldemar Zawodziński, Adam Hanuszkiewicz, Marek Weiss- Grzesiński, Lech Majewski, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz...) willingly invite her to take part in their artistic projects.

She's accompanied Placido Domingo, Teresa Żylis-Gara, Stefania Toczyska , Gwendolyn Bradley, Kałudi Kałudow....Monika scored her great succes in "Il Trovatore" singing together with remarcable Salvatore Licitra.

Monika Cichocka eagerly performs exeptionally complicated parts bringing into effect for the first time many contemporary works (Ph.Boessmans, Ph. Glass, E.Sikora),receiving a lot of press and public prizes as wellas enthusiastic write-ups.

Singer succesfully teaches young singers - teaching voice is her great passion.
